Aurélie Leseurre trained as an oenologist in Burgundy before arriving in the Finger Lakes. She brought French winemaking sensibility to the east bluff of Keuka Lake — a place with enough in common with Burgundy's climate to make the transplant work.

The estate produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as the Burgundian core, alongside Riesling and Cabernet Franc that speak to what Keuka Lake specifically does well. The winery is small and the production is careful. Leseurre's background means the wines are made with precision — fermentation timing, barrel selection, and élevage that reflect serious training applied to a serious site.

Domaine Leseurre is one of a handful of Finger Lakes wineries where the European pedigree of the winemaker is evident in the bottle, not just the label.
